Once we’ve chatted and picked your perfect itinerary, we’ll send you a formal booking link. We require a 50% deposit to lock in your dates, your certified guide, and the necessary mountain permits. The remaining balance is usually settled once you arrive in Huaraz, giving you one less thing to worry about before you fly!

We try to keep it simple! For deposits, we accept major Credit Cards (Visa/Mastercard) through secure online platforms, PayPal, or Wire Transfers. For the final balance in Huaraz, we accept USD or Peruvian Soles in cash, or credit cards (heads up: card payments in Peru often have a small local service fee).

Absolutely! We love connecting solo hikers. You can join one of our “Fixed Departure” groups to share the cost and the fun. If you prefer a 100% private experience tailored to your specific pace, we can arrange that too. Just let us know your dates, and we’ll show you what’s already on the calendar.

Life happens, we get it. If you need to reschedule, we’ll do our best to move your deposit to a new date at no extra cost (subject to availability). For cancellations, our tiered refund policy depends on how close you are to the start date. We highly recommend “Travel Insurance” that covers trip interruptions—it’s the best way to protect your investment!

We’ll host a “Pre-Trek Briefing” at your hotel in Huaraz or at our central office the evening before we head out (usually around 6:00 PM). This is where you’ll meet your lead guide, do a final gear check, and go over the weather forecast. It’s the perfect time to ask those last-minute “what if” questions over a cup of coca tea.

We pride ourselves on being responsive. You’ll usually get a human reply from our Huaraz office within a few hours (certainly within 24 hours). Since we are often out in the mountains, we use WhatsApp for the quickest real-time updates once you’ve landed in Peru. We’re with you every step of the way!
